IIT Delhi will now implement JEE Advanced 2020 on August 23, as recommended by Minister of Personnel Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced, postponed due to COVID-19. JEE Advanced is the admission test for the license, integrated master and double degree programs (entry level 10 2) in the 23 IITs in the country. Students who qualify for JEE Main and rank in the top 2 50,000 candidates in order of merit can take JEE Advanced. The review is conducted by the seven IITs for zone coordination, namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee under the auspices of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). JEE Advanced 2020 application forms are available online. The placement test takes place in two teams (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) in the form of a computer test. The exam includes two mandatory tests, Test 1 and Test 2, formulated from the program published by the JEE advanced authorities. The JEE Advanced 2020 admission ticket is available to all registered applicants. The Architectural Suitability Test (AAT) was scheduled to take place on June 12, 2020, while the results should be announced on June 16.

Eligibility Criteria:

The admission criteria for JEE Advanced 2020 are the conditions that each candidate must meet in order to be considered for the exam and the admission process. Applicants who are considered ineligible will be excluded from the examination process. JEE’s advanced eligibility criteria are listed below:

  • Age Limit – General category candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995. Relaxation of 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category.
