University of Hyderabad (UOH)  is a public University affiliated by UGC and AIU. The university is accredited grade “A” by NAAC.The University imparts professional /non-professional education, research and training. University of Hyderabad (UOH) offers admission to the following programmes:

  • MPA(Master of public administration)
  • MFA(Master of fine arts)
  • MPH(Master of Public health)

Only candidates with the relevant qualification can register for the above mentioned programmes. Reservation of seats shall be as per the GOI/UGC norms for SC/ST/OBC/PH/ Seats are reserved for people belonging to different categories such as SC/ST/BC/PH etc. as well as special categories viz. Differently-abled /Wards/Dependants of defence personnel/ Kashmiri migrants/ Foreign Nationals/ NRIs. Read More: UOH Admission 2019

Candidates can register for admission by filling-in the online application form and submitting the required processing fee. Admission to the above programmes is done on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the written test and interview.

Eligibility

Master of Public Health [MPH]

  • Candidate must have hold of bachelor’s degree in medicine, dentistry, Ayurvedic medicine, homeopathy ,physiotherapy ,occupational therapy, nursing ,nutrition, pharmacology, veterinary sciences, agricultural sciences, social sciences /any other science  degree with not less than 50% of marks/equivalent grade from a recognized university
  • Candidates need to qualify the written test and interview
  • Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree and expecting their results and certificates before July 31 are also eligible to apply.

Master of Performing Arts [MPA] (Kuchipudi) , Master of Performing Arts [MPA] (Theatre Arts) & Master of Fine Arts [MFA] (Painting)

  • Candidate must have hold of any bachelor’s degree with not less than 50% of marks/equivalent grade from a recognized university
  • Candidates need to qualify the written test and interview
  • Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree and expecting their results and certificates before July 31 are also eligible to apply.

How To Apply

Candidates must apply for admission by filling in and submitting completed online application. All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information.

Candidate should log on to the http://acad.uohyd.ac.in website and follow the given steps:

  1. Fill the application form online with the necessary information
  2. Pay the application fee via available  payment modes
  3. Upload  the necessary scanned documents
  4. Candidate must preserve the registration number generated during the online filling of application form.
  5. Note: without the generation of registration no. the registration process is incomplete.
  6. Submit the application form online
  7. Download the hall ticket
  8. Candidate must keep the Xerox copy of the completed applications for subsequent use                                        The candidate should upload / bring/submit the application and the following copies of following documents at the time of counselling/whensoever asked to do so.
    1. Transfer Certificate
    2. HSC/CBSE/other equivalent mark sheet
    3. Graduation certificate
    4. Community Certificate (For OC candidates community certificate not required)
    5. Certificates for Special categories, if required
    6. Nativity Certificate if required
    7.  Date of Birth Certificate (SSC / ICSE / CBSE).
    8. Medical certificate
    9. Other relevant documents

    Important Note:

    • Application/entrance  fee for General & OBC Category: INR 350/-
    • Application/entrance fee for SC/ST/PH Category: INR 150/-

    Note: Then application/registration fee is non-refundable.


    Admission Process

    Master of Performing Arts [MPA] (Kuchipudi) , Master of Performing Arts [MPA] (Theatre Arts) & Master of Fine Arts [MFA] (Painting)Candidates will be selected for the above Program on the basis of their merit in written test followed by an interview. The university announces a merit list based on the result of the examination.
