Professional Qualification: Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualifying exam especially in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with 60% marks in aggregate.

How to apply for B.Tech & M.Sc Integrated Courses

How to obtain the Application form:

Students can obtain the application through any of the below mentioned mode.

• Buy the application form & Apply online: You have to buy the application form by paying INR 750 through credit/Debit card or Net banking. After successful payment you will receive an Application number & security code through e-mail or SMS. Now you can apply online by signing in via given code to www.admissions.edu

• Apply online by using Pin mailer: You can obtain the Application form in person by visiting to the Karunya University campus after paying fee of INR 750. After that you will receive a hard copy of application form along with the Pin mailer details.  Use Application number & pass code & apply online through www.admissions.edu

In this case you do not need to send the filled in Application form or any other documents to the University

• Apply online by using Demand Draft: After going through all eligibility details (if you are satisfying them) you have to send a Demand draft of INR 750 in favor of “The Registrar Karunya University” Payable at Coimbtore. Now sign in to www.admissions.edu & apply online by providing DD details. After filling required details, Application form along with DD should be sent to:

Requirement of OMR sheet during Application process:

The application form (OMR sheet) which you will receive is in the form of computerized hard copy. Shade the bubbles in the by using HB pencil. Fill all details in your own handwriting by Blue or Black ball point pen. Students are advised to send the duly filled OMR sheet along with supporting documents as given below:

• Marks sheet of class 10^th
• Bonafied certificate of class 12^th
• Community certificate with statements of community & religion (issued by tehsildar/revenue officer)

Importance of OMR sheet lies in the fact that if you have sent the OMR sheet along with above documents then you do not need to send the application form.

Instructions to be followed at the time of Online Application:

Students have to upload the original documents in support of their online application:

• Recent colour photograph (3.5 cm to 4.5 cm)
• Signature must be in Black or Blue ink & should be scanned properly.

Other documents like Marks sheet/ Community & Domicile certificates could be uploaded too but not mandatory, it can be presented at the time of single window counselling cum selection procedure.

Admission Process for B.Tech & M.Sc Integrated Courses

A common selection process has been acquired by Karunya University for admission in B. Tech., B. Sc. & M. Sc. integrated courses. Your ranking in KEE 2019 will decide your admission in these courses after that you will get the call for counselling.

• Date & time of counselling will be mentioned in the admission letter given to the students at the time of entrance. Information regarding the same will be provided through SMS & will also be published on the official website.

• Request for change in the date & time of counselling will not be entertained.
• Students have to appear for the counselling in person only.
• Documents required to be produced at the time of counselling:

1. Self-attested copy of rank card of KEE 2019
2. 10^th class certificate as Date of Birth proof
3. Migration certificate from last attended school
4. Christian minority certificate issued by Tahsildar/ Revenue officer or Magistrate.
5. Demand draft of INR 50, 000 as tuition fee in favor of “The Registrar Karunya University” payable at Coimbtore as first installment.

• Scholarship Details:

Scholarship options provide financial help to the students provided that they must satisfy the laid down criteria to avail the benefits.

1. Government Scholarship: Karunya University offers advantages to minority & other categories students under government scheme.

• Metric cum means based scholarship
• Post metric scholarship:Applicable for those students whose parent’s income is less than INR 2, 50,000 per year.

CBSE scholarship:

Institutional Scholarship:

•  D.G.S Dhinakaran memorial scholarships (Loan scholarship): Applicable for those students who have maintained the CGPA of 7.5 & income of parents should not be more than INR 2, 000, 00 per year.
• Sports scholarship: 100% & 50% fee concession will be offered with respect to the performance of student in particular sport.

Key Notes:

Before applying for admission in Karunya University all students are advised to read the points as given below:

1. Non Residential Indian (NRI) & foreign national are free from KEE 2019. In lieu of the test students have to submit a certificate issued by the school from which they have completed their 10+2 examination.

2. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) & Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) will be treated in the same manner as Indian citizens for admission if they have studied their qualifying exam in India.

3. If a student want to terminate his/her degree in integrated M. Sc. Course then it will be possible only after completion of 3 year of B. Sc. in visual communication in the University only.

4. Selection process is different for science & non-science students in case B. Sc. & M. Sc. integrated (Visual Communication) course. For non-science students admission will be made on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent exam. For sciencestudent ranking in KEE will be considered only.
