Counseling for NEET 2017 qualified candidates seeking admission in MBBS / BDS programs in Private and Governmental Colleges of Haryana will be organized by PT. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences. It is a medical university that has been assigned the responsibility for arranging for MBBS / BDS Racing for the year 2017-2018. It has been clarified by the Hon’ble Supreme Court that Admission in MBBS / BDS Colleges (Govt / Private / Trust) will be based on the candidates’ score in NEET 2017.

Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences was established by the Haryana Act No. 26 of 2008. The Act comes into force from 02 June 2008. It is the first University of Health Sciences in the State. It is located at a distance of 70 Km North-West of Delhi on the National Highway No. 10, spread over a sprawling 350 acres of land in the historic city of Rohtak.

The University was established with the purpose of teaching and affiliating, ensuring proper and systematic instruction, training and research in Modern and Indian System of Medicine. Since then, the body continuously strives to offer courses to its aspirants and encourage them to participate in the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak.

Haryana MBBS / BDS Admission

The Prospectus issued by the University of Haryana. The rest of the 15% will be filled by the counseling procedure conducted by MCC individually. The students can now fill the online form. The application form submission will end by 18 July 2017. for those who have not yet completed the form can read this article and plan quickly.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS and BDS Haryana Counseling

(I) Nationality – Candidate must be an Indian National

(Ii) Region Requirement – Only bonafide residents of Haryana are allowed

(Iii) Age criteria- 17 years on or more on 31st December 2017

(Iv) Qualifying Examination – Passed 12th class examination under 10 + 2 system conducted by the C.B.S.E / Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination

(V) Subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English

(For SC / ST / OBC category candidates) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology, 45% for Locomotory disability of Lower limbs, the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology taken together

(Vii) NEET Qualification – it is necessary for a candidate to qualify the NEET-2017 exam with a minimum of 50th percentile, 45th percentile for UR-PwD and 40th percentile for SC, ST, OBC, SC-PwD, ST-PwD & OBC- PwD candidates

Online Registration for Hayana Medical Counselling 2017

The USHR (Haryana Medical University) is accepting online registration for MBBS/ BDS Admission 2017 at www.uhsr.ac.in website. There are only 250 total seats of MBBS in Haryana State. Applications would be received after the candidate pays the Registration/ Counseling fee (mentioned above in the table). The registration is actually meant to indicate the choice of college and course the candidate wants to opt for. After getting a clear idea of the number of candidates looking for admission in various courses, the merit list is displayed in online mode on the official website.  The candidates must look whether they are eligible to appear or not.

Counselling Dates

Once the registration date expires, the UHSR will announce the names of the candidates who have been called to attend the first round of counselling. The names will be printed in a merit list that shall also indicate the centre and time by which the candidate should report. In addition to that, the documents that are required at the time of counselling will also be mentioned in the same list.

First Round of Counselling

The seat matrix of 100% seats will be displayed online according to which Candidates who are selected to attend the first round of counseling should attend first round. The Schedule says that the For General Category seats in all Government/ Govt. Aided Medical College and Government Dental College, the 01st round will be held from 22 July 2017, For Reserved Category seats in all Government/ Govt. Aided Medical colleges from 23 July  2017, and For Private Medical/ Dental Colleges including Medical/ Dental Colleges under SGT, University, Budhera, Gurugram from 24 July 2017. These candidates must carry the documents listed and the course fee in the form as mentioned in the list and report at the allotted centre.

Documents to be brought

Original documents (along with attested photocopies of documents) for admission to undergraduate medical courses for admission to deemed universities on All India basis required at the time of joining in allotted Medical / Dental College

Admit Cards of Exam issued by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Result/ Rank letter issued by CBSE.
Date of Birth Certificate (if Metric Certificate does not bear the same)
Class 10th Certificate
Class 10+2 Certificate
Class 10+2 Marksheet
Eight (8) Passport size photograph same as affixed on the application form.
Provisional allotment letter generated on-line.

The Candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable:
You will be called based on your rank, and indicate the choice of college and course once again. As seats get filled up, the seat matrix will be revised for next round and displayed on website.

Second Round of Counseling

After the 01st round of counselling, the seat matrix will be reviewed based on the left over seats in course of the specific college. Then the second round will be held. The 02nd round of counselling will be held on 16 August 2017 For General Category seats in all Government/ Govt. Aided Medical College and Government Dental College, on 17 August 2017 For Reserved Category seats in all Government/ Govt. Aided Medical College and Government Dental College, on 18 August 2017 For Private Medical Colleges including Medical Colleges under SGT, University, Budhera, Gurugram, on 19 August 2017 For Private Dental Colleges including Dental Colleges under SGT, University, Budhera, Gurugram. These candidates also must carry the course fee, original documents beforehand.

Mop Up Round

The net vacant seats due to non-joining, non-reporting of round 2 will be published in the seat matrix and seats will be filled in this Mop round. After this there will be no counselling. Setas will be revised again. Eligible candidates will submit fresh choices and result will be processed as per choice and merit. Registered candidates who do not get any seat allotment in the 2nd round of the seat allotment stand a chance in this round.

The mop round will start from 20 August 2017 to 24 August 2017. on these dates, the web portal will be opened inviting fresh applications for left over vacant seats in Govt./ Govt. Aided/ Private Unaided Medical/ Dental Institutes and those under SGT University also. The dates for mop up round For Govt./ Govt. Aided Medical/ Dental Institutes are 27 August 2017, and 28 August 2017 For Private Unaided Medical/ Dental Colleges including those under SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram.
