AIIMS PG 2020 for admission to the July session is postponed. The entrance medical examination for admission to MD, MS, DM (6 years), M.Ch (6 years), MDS courses should take place on May 3, 2020. Due to the COVID epidemic 19 , the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences has decided to suspend the examination pending a further assessment of the situation. AIIMS New Delhi published the official notice on exam postponement on March 25, 2020. As of now there is no official update on when the new exam date will be announced. It is expected to happen after the end of lockdown.

The Indian Institute of Medical Sciences will conduct the AIIMS PG exam in one shift in July 2020. While the exam was originally scheduled to take place on May 3, 2020, it has now been postponed and the new date will be available soon. As soon as AIIMS announces the date or a report is available, it will be updated here.

The third step in applying for AIIMS PG 2020 exam is doing the final registration (first is basic registration, and second is generation of code).

AIIMS PG 2020 Exam Syllabus & Pattern

Mode of exam: AIIMS PG 2020 will be a computer based test.

Language of exam: All questions will be in English language.

Type of questions: All questions will be multiple choice questions. They will further be divided in the following types of questions.

7 Extended matching items Each question will have theme and focus, answer option list, lead in question, scenarios and vignettes. 2 or more scenario / vignette related to the theme . candidate has to select best option +1/ no of scenarios -1/ no of scenario

Note: Candidate will get 0 marks for all answers marked for review, or not answered.
