Annamalai University published an announcement of candidates eligible for admission to various courses such as Agriculture / Horticulture and B.F.Sc Admissions Program for the 2017-2018 academic year. Candidates can apply online at the official website of Annamalai University. The University of Annamalai was authorized by the Government of Tamil Nadu at the entrance of Tamil Nadu in the Law of 2006 on vocational training institutions (Act TN 3 of 2007), to admit the candidates during the previous offers the University.

Assignment of seats depends on the range and seat availability. In total, there are 500 seats in the BSC (Agriculture) (475 seats for school courses and 25 places for vocational training)
Candidates can attend orientation according to date and time and the cutoff point is mentioned in the Annex.
It will be up to the candidates who have obtained the revised notes in RV / RT [revaluation / re-totalizing] to attend therapy according to their revised mark mentioned in the annex.
Admission is based on merit, following the reserve rule.
The selection must be made in seven categories, namely OC, AC, BCM, MBC and DNC, SC, ST and SCA following the policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu reserve.
Consultant fees Rs.2000 / – (Rs 500 / – For SC / SCA / ST Candidates) (non-refundable) must be paid by candidates, in cash or DD (for ‘The Secretary, Annamalai University’ for Which the Bank nationalized / scheduled to pay in Chennai) at the time of advice.
The candidate must bring the originals and 2 sets of photocopies of the following certificates / documents to attend counseling.

The general classification and classification of the community are subject to provisional production / confirmation of relevant documents, including the community certificate, secondary certificate, the certificate (if applicable), etc.
Discharging an appeal letter or attending therapy does not guarantee admission to programs. Admission depends on the availability and rank of the seat and the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.

Applicants are invited to be present at the counseling session, one hour before the scheduled time, with their original certificates for verification.
The University reserves the right of admission, subject to eligibility criteria and standards.

Eligibility criteria
For the Degree Program (Agri.) / Bachelor Degree (Hort.)
A passage in HSC secondary or vocational training or equivalent qualification examination with 10 + 2 years of education with a minimum average percentage as indicated below will only be eligible.
For Bachelor of Science in Fisheries (B.F.Sc.) Degree Program
A pass in the upper secondary course (10 + 2) / CBSE / other examination recognized as equivalent to the same and meets the following requirements are required.

Annamalai University in 2017 Selection Process
For the Degree Program (Agri.) / Bachelor Degree (Hort.)
Candidates will be selected on the basis of grades on their grading examination and will be graded according to the grading procedure given below.
A separate board will be organized for candidates for courses and vocational training.
Applicants will be invited to receive advice by merit order based on the ranking list and the community ranking and award of the course chosen by the candidates will be done.
Applicants should choose the program available at the time of orientation
In cases where more than one candidate has obtained the same grades in the common merit list, the inter-should be determined among these students deserve.
Classification procedure
The mark on each of the four main themes would be converted to 50 as follows,
MARKS OBTAINED / MAXIMUM MARK × 50
and the aggregate of the four subjects would be taken for ranking for maximum of 200 marks.
For Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences (B.F.Sc.) Degree Programme
The selection of candidates will be based on the eligibility criteria mentioned in 5.3(i) & (ii) prospected attached below following the rule of reservation followed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
