On 12 June 2017, after the Supreme Court’s ruling on the removal of stay on NEET UG 2017, the Central Board of Secondary Education issued a notification concerning the display of OMR sheets and answer keys. Now the long wait of 11 lakh aspirants waiting for the official NEET Answer Key will come to an end and they will eventually know the correct answers marked by CBSE for all 12 question paper sets. This will help in estimating marks and predicting rank to be obtained in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2017. NEET Result will be announced on the basis of final official answer key.

How to check NEET Answer Key at cbseneet.nic.in?

  • First of all, you will click on check NEET Answer Key 2017 link (which will be availablehere on 15 June 2017).
  • There you will be able to login with login credentials namely registration number and password.
  • As soon as you log in you will be able to see NEET Answer Key for Set A, B, C, D, P, Q, R, S, W, X, Y, Z. It is probable that only that set of answer key will be displayed which you got on exam day.

The decision of the Central Board of Secondary Education in matters concerning the final NEET 2017 Answer Key will be ultimate. Only valid representations received online with a fee, within the time frame, will be reviewed as per the rules and no additional communication or anonymous / incomplete representations will be entertained after the last date.

  • Fee for every objection is Rs1000 per question challenged.

Result

CBSE will declare NEET Result before 26 June 2017. Result will show marks obtained by candidates in National Eligibility Entrance Test as well as All India Rank. Apart from AIR, state rank and category rank are also displayed in the rank card.

Candidates will be able to check result at cbseneet.nic.in/cbseresults.nic.in. In order to do so, they will have to log in with roll number and date of birth.

Admission to MBBS / BDS to 15% All India Share in centralized counseling will be on the basis of rank obtained in NEET exam. States and colleges (except AIIMS and JIPMER) will use NEET rank for admission 2017-2018.
