The sections Verbal and Quantitative Thinking have been shortened by 13 and 10 minutes, respectively. The integrated thinking and evaluation of the analytical letter as well as the overview of results and the optional break time remained the same. These changes do not affect the ratings in the “Shortened Verbal” and “Quantitative” sections, as only unrated elements have been removed from GMAC. The GMAT has a feature that allows candidates to customize their GMAT experience by choosing the section order that they feel most comfortable in when they take the exam.
