Admissions to Bachelor of Pharmacy Course– The admissions to the Second Year (Third Semester) of the Bachelor of Pharmacy Course on all the supernumerary seats shall be given on the basis of merit list prepared by the Admission Committee in accordance with the provisions of these rules or, as the case may be, guidelines issued by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.

Eligibility for Admission

Candidates may please note that Eligibility criteria are given below as per the last year brochure only for candidates references. We will update the latest information here as per the official notification.

A Candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination from the college or an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and/or the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.

Subject to the provisions of sub-rules (1) and (2), the candidates, from the colleges or an institution situated in other than the Gujarat State shall be eligible for admission provided the seats remain vacant after offering the same to the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from colleges or institutions situated in the Gujarat State.

Minimum aggregate marks.- For the purpose of admission, the minimum aggregate marks which a candidate shall have obtained in qualifying examination shall be as per norms and requirements prescribed by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi for lateral entry to Second Year Under Graduate Development Programs for current academic year.

Candidates who have passed the diploma examination in Nov-Dec 2016 or May-June 2017 from the University or institution located in the State of Gujarat and approved by AICTE / recognized university with at least 45% Grade or equivalent CGPA (40% of the marks or equivalent of the CGPA in the case of the candidate belonging to the reserve category) in an appropriate engineering / technology branch are eligible for registration. Eligible students must log on to www.gujacpcadm.nic.in from anywhere on the Internet for online registration. The direct link was also provided below according to the official announcement.

Eligibility criteria

For the purpose of admission, a candidate,

Have passed the qualifying examination with minimum aggregate marks as prescribed in Rule 6 of the previous academic year in the relevant discipline listed in column 2 of Annex I of the Technical Review Board (BER) or ” A recognized council / university approved by AICTE and located in the State of Gujarat, and
Who has passed the qualifying examination with minimum aggregate marks as prescribed in Rule 6 in the Immediate Immediate Year in the relevant discipline as set out in column 2 of Schedule I to the Examining Board Or a recognized university or institute approved by AICTE and located in the State of Gujarat and which could not be admitted in the previous year of admission due to the late reporting of the results by The Council / University with minimum aggregated marks.
Minimum Aggregate Marks – For admission purposes, the minimum aggregate marks that a candidate has obtained on the qualifying examination must meet the standards and requirements prescribed by AICTE, New Delhi, for a secondary entry to the second Year as part of the upgrading programs for the current academic year.

Admission Procedure

The admission procedure must be off-campus online as follows:

Merit lists must be posted on the Admissions Committee website and
Means that the Committee considers it appropriate.
The Admissions Committee publishes the online consultation program on its website by advertising in major newspapers widely distributed in the State and by such other means as the Committee deems appropriate.
The candidate must give his or her choice of colleges or institutions online. Seats must be awarded on the basis of merit, the category of candidate and the availability of seats. The award must be published on the committee’s website. Applicants are required to obtain the printing of the letter of offer of award and copies of receipts from the bank’s website fee.
The candidate must pay the fees that can be determined by the admission committee.
On the payment of the required tuition fees in accordance with sub-rule (5), online or in the branches of the banks, as specified, the admission awarded to the candidate must be confirmed. The candidate will have to log into his account to get the impression of the admission slip. In the event that the candidate fails to pay the tuition fees within the prescribed period, as indicated above, the admission offered will be treated as canceled. However, the candidate is eligible to participate in the successive classification and redesign of school boards, provided that the candidate has given his consent for the same purpose but is not eligible for admission to the seat. It has already been awarded in previous rounds.
Where there is a significant number of seats and it is the responsibility of the Admissions Committee to fill vacancies, it may conduct the online admission process for gradation / rearrangement of seats. Applicants who choose to participate in such a process by granting their consent online will be considered for this admission. The candidate may be classified according to the choices he has made under sub-rule (4). If the candidate is admitted on a bottom-up basis, his / her previous admission will be treated as canceled.
