The Assam CEE Merit List, on the other hand, will be calculated on the basis of the score. Higher the score calculated by the candidates, better will the rank of the candidates. During the counselling round, the seat allotment will be done on the basis of the merit position of the candidate.

How To Check Result

The  Result will only be announced online and will not be sent to the candidate at their residential address. The candidates will be able to download it by following the steps below:

• Select your course
• Enter your roll number
• Click on submit button
• Check and download the result

Any official ranking or scorecard will not be issued for Assam CEE qualifiers. However, during the counseling they will be required to submit Result. Therefore, the candidates are advised to download the displayed result and secure it until the end of the admission process.

If the score of two or more candidates are the same and it leads to tie of merit then the following methodology is used to break the tie:

• First, the marks of the candidates in PCM subjects in the qualifying examination are checked. The candidate with the higher score is allocated higher rank.
• Despite this, if the tie persists then the score of PCM and English will be considered. Again the candidate with the higher score will be allocated better rank.
• If the medium above failed, then a draw of the lot will be done by the Chairman of Chairman of Selection Committee and per that the ranks will be allocated.
