Eligibility Criteria for B.Des programmes:

Students must have passed in 10+2 in any group with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBC) from CBSE or any other equivalent recognized board.

B.Com

Students must have passed in 10+2 in any of the Science or Commerce stream from CBSE or any other equivalent recognized board.

Note: Poornima University also offers dual degree (B.Com+MBA) of 5 year’s duration.

BCA , BBA/BBM & B.Sc

The University offers 3 Years BBA programme at School of Management (SOM) and BCA programmes in following specializations at School of Basic & Applied Sciences (SBA):

Eligibility Criteria BBA, BCA and BSc (Animation & VFX)

Students must have passed in 10+2 in any group from CBSE or any other equivalent recognized board.

ME/M.Tech

The University offers 2 years M.Tech in following specializations at School of Engineering & Technology (SET).

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech programmes

• Students must have passed BE/B. Tech or equivalent degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university with 55% marks or 6.25 CGPA on 10 points scale (50% or 5.75 CGPA on 10 points scale for ST/SC/OBC & SBC) are eligible to apply.
• Students with MCA/M.Sc. in IT will also be considered by Poornima University for M.Tech in Computer Engineering.

Note: Poornima University also offers dual degree (M.Tech+Ph.D) of 3 year’s duration.

MBA/PGDM

The University offers two years MBA programmes in following specializations at School of Management (SOM).

• Banking
• Finance
• Marketing
• Human Resource

Eligibility Criteria for MBA Programme

Students with Bachelor’s Degree in 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent with minimum 48% marks (43% for SC/ST/OBC/SBC) in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to apply.

Note: Poornima University also offers dual degree (BBA+MBA) of 5 year’s duration in all branches.

BE/B.Tech , ME/M.Tech & B.Arch

Students have to follow the common application process to secure admission in Poornima University. Students can obtain the application form through any of the following modes:

Online Application: Students can apply online by navigating to University website.

Offline Application: Students can directly download the application form from official university website.

Through Campus: Students can obtain the application form by visiting the university’s campus or through designated centres.

Documents required to be attach/send along with the Application form:

1. Marks sheet of qualifying exam
2. Certificate as correct proof of Date of Birth (DOB) for e.g. 10^th certificate

4. Transfer certificate/Migration certificate (if applicable)
5. E-receipt or DD with respect to payment of application form fee of INR 1000 in favor of ‘Poornima University’ payable at ‘Jaipur’

Selection Procedure

Below is the selection process for all programmes offered by Poornima University:

BE/B.Tech

Admission to B.Tech & B.Tech dual degree courses will be offered on the basis of fulfillment of any of the below mentioned conditions:

• 70% seats of the total available seats will be filled through the merit released on the basis of entrance exam.
• 15% seats of the available seats will be confirmed on the basis of student’s performance in JEE-Main Entrance.
• 15% of the available seats will be calculated on the basis of percentage obtained in PCM in 12^th standard.

Note: In case of any vacancies generated under any of the above conditions. It will be filled by the other category.

B.Arch

• Students have to appear for NATA & also have to maintain minimum 40% marks in the same.
• To obtain seat in Poornima University’s B.Arch course students can also attend the JEE Architecture counselling.

B.Des , BCA & B.Com

• For Ph.D programmes students will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Ph.D Entrance Test (PET) followed by interview.
• Completion of the award of degree will be given only after successful submission of the thesis required.

Selection process for students serving outside India:

• Those students, who are interested in Ph.D admission in Poornima University & residing outside India, have to take the University Research Aptitude Test (RAT)of 100 marks in two parts Part-A & Part-B. This test has been conducted to test the research aptitude of the student.
• GATE/NET/SET/CSIR qualified students will be exempted from RAT.
• SLET qualified candidates /Teacher fellowship holders & M.Phil degree holders will also be exempted from RAT.
• After RAT test, qualified students will be called for interview proceedings regarding final interview.
