Karnataka Examinations Authority is responsible for medical and dental admission 2017. Candidates who have appeared in NEET 2017 could apply online at www.kea.kar.nic.in. It is made clear that Karnataka MBBS / BDS Admission 2017 is based on the NEET result only. If a candidate has appeared in NEET, then he / she can submit form. In the event that one has also appeared for KCET 2017, then the fee does not need to be paid again. The KEA prescribes eligibility criteria for medical and dental admission. KEA has not taken any separate admissions exam for MBBS / BDS Admission 2017 as per MCI guidelines. Document Verification Schedule

The verification of documents will be conducted Only at Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Shimoga, Davangere, Belgaum, Dharward, Bellary and Gulbarga Helpline Centres. Candidates can attend the verification in any of the Helpline centres detailed above. However, the Non-Karnataka and NRI candidates have to attend verification only at Bangalore.

All eligible candidates have to attend document verification based on their NEET All India Rank only as per the following schedule. (Candidates should NOT attend based on All India Quota Rank / Overall Rank / Category Rank / Category PH Rank or should NOT attend on the basis of serial number of Karnataka provisional list)

KEA has already conducted the document verification to the candidates as per CET-2006 Admission Rules. All such candidates who are holding verification slip need not attend the document verification once again. However, if any such candidate is eligible to claim Private seats, Minority, NRI seats then they have to submit the relevant certificates / documents as per the following schedule. (Please read the UG-NEET-2017 Brochure regarding eligibility and documents required for different category of seats)

The candidates who fulfills the eligibility conditions laid down in CET-2006 admission rules and have qualifying score in NEET-2017 but not attended the earlier document verification can attend the verification with all the necessary documents / certificates as per the schedule.

Other candidates (non-Karnataka candidates) who have qualifying score in NEET-2017 have to appear for verification of documents as per the schedule with all the necessary documents.

Candidates who have edited the application should also submit the relevant certificate for the changed information for verification as per the schedule.

Note:-

Such of the candidates who are NRI / OCI / PIO should attend on specified date which will be notified later.
Those eligible candidates who not registered can register on or before 15-07-2017. Candidates are not allowed to participate in the verification unless they register themselves for Verification.
Candidates can also pay the fees in the form of Demand Draft, which can be submitted on the day of verification as per the above schedule.

Merit obtained in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test held by CBSE on May 11 forms the basis for Karnataka Medical and Dental Admission 2017. KEA had previously informed that medical and dental aspirants must appear in CBSE NEET UG 2017. If you appeared in NEET but not registered for CET then you can apply online. Download challan to pay application fee.

Part A steps to apply

Step 1 – Select Online Registration for NEET Appeared Candidates.

Step 2 – Click on New User? Click Here to Register after you reach online registration at KEA website. Here you will enter following information asked in form.

Step 3 – Next you will login with login details created in previous step.

Step 4 – Enter student information and save entries.

Step 5 – Enter study details, save and next.

Step 6 – Upload photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression, parent signature. Save and next.
