Hindu College, one of the prestigious colleges under the Delhi University, was established in the year 1899. The college situated in Delhi, is one of the oldest colleges in the area. Hindu Collegeoffers three major undergraduate programs with various specializations. Hindu College BA, B. Com & B.Sc. Admission 2019

Hindu College provides B.Sc. program in six specializations, B.A. program in eight specializations and a B. Com (Hons) program. The minimum educational qualification for the programs is 10+2 or HSC in the relevant stream from a recognized board.

For admission to the undergraduate programs in Hindu College, candidates must have scored above the cut-off percentage in the qualifying examination. Candidates falling in the merit list should report to the college for admission. They must fill in the college admission form and University enrolment form. Candidates may also have to submit the necessary academic documents and the proofs of claim to secure admission under reserved quota.

To apply for the programs, candidates should fill in the common pre-admission form available from the Delhi University. The application form can be filled through online as well as offline mode.

  • The cutoff percentage for the program is determined either by the university or the college.
  • For SC/ST candidates, there is a 5% relaxation in the minimum required eligibility.

Hindu College MA, M.Sc. and M.Com. Admission 2019

Hindu College offers postgraduate courses as approved by Delhi University. There are six specializations in M.Sc. and eight specializations in M.A. Admission to the PG courses are done on the basis of both merit and entrance. Half of the seats will be filled through merit and the other half on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination. The basic eligibility criteria for the programs are Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field.

DU offers entrance-based admission for candidates from outside the university. The entrance test will be conducted by the university at various centers across the country in the month of June. Candidates can visit the official website of DU for more information. The merit-based admission offered by the University is for candidates of Delhi University only. Such candidates will be selected on the basis of their scores in the qualifying examination.

Candidates have to apply for PG programs only through online mode. Candidates must register on the Delhi University online portal and pay the required amount of INR 500/- during registration (INR 250/- for SC/ST/PWD).

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with the required minimum marks.
  • For most courses, SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility.
  • For M.Sc. and M.A. courses, the seats are almost equally divided between merit and entrance based criteria.
  • For M. Com, there are different eligibility criteria for the merit-based and entrance-based categories.
  • SC/ST candidates applying for M.Com should just have passing marks to apply for the program.

Hindu College Application Process 2019

The application process for Hindu College is online and can be done through Delhi University’s online admission form. There is separate application portals for UG & PG courses. Candidates can apply to the desired course by visiting the official website. Hindu College Scholarship

Hindu College provides 23 scholarships to the students on the basis of their academic performance. Apart from the scholarships, the college provides fee concessions to deserving students based on their performance in their academics.
