Candidates wishing to follow the admission of six (six) semester courses for the 2017-18 academic semester in the first semester may submit their application form by the deadline date. The application form is started from 16 June 2017 and the deadline for submission of the application form is 27 June 2017. The selection will be made by a board strictly in accordance with merit.

Application Form 2017

Application forms may be collected during the production of Mark Sheet of Madhyamik or an equivalent examination of the Tripura Institute of Technology or Polytechnic Women or Dhalai District Polytechnic or Gomati District Polytechnic or North Tripura Polytechnic, Bagabassa, Dharmanagar or TIAADC Polytechnic , Khumulwng from 16111 to 27 June June, 2017, from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm, on payment of a processing fee of Rs 100 / – In cash. The processing fee is Rs. 50 / – In case of GLP application.

Application forms can also be downloaded from the websites www.wptripura.nic.in. From 16/06/2017 to 27/06/2017. In the case of downloaded forms. Processing fees must be paid in cash at the time of submission of downloaded applications ….

The application forms may be collected from any of the Institutes as mentioned above and filled in applications may be submitted in any of the given Institutes on or before 3.30 P.M. of 27th June, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

Aggregate % of marks (English, Mathematics & Physical Science/Science as the case may be) in Madhyamik or equivalent examination from Boards recognised by TBSE.

• UR – 50%
• SC – 45%
• ST – 40%
• Ex-Serviceman – In accordance with the category of reservation
• PH – 40%

Maximum age as on 31/05/2017

• UR – 21
• SC – 24
• ST – 24
• Ex-Serviceman – In accordance with the category of reservation
• PH – 24

Special Features

• Reservation rules of State Government are applicable In case of admission
• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and Permanent resident of Tripura
• Selection will be done through counselling strictly according to merit.
• Wards of Ex- servicemen must apply through Rajya Sainik Board.
• No reviewed marks will be entertained after last date of submission i.e. 27/06/2017.
• CBSE students passed school conducted Examinations are not eligible to apply.
• Students admitted in any Polytechnic of Tripura by counseling in previous years
  are also not eligible to apply.
