SRMJEEE 2018 Exam Date, Eligibility, Pattern, Application Form

An official notification regarding SRMJEEE 2018 has been released. SRM University is going to conduct the SRMJEEE for the upcoming year i.e 2018. The SRMJEEE 2018 date, eligibility criteria, application form are available online. SRMJEEE is held because of B.tech admission in the SRM University and will be online multiple choice question-based exam. Candidates will be able to apply online at www.srmuniv.ac.in from the month of October. Candidates are requested to check the eligibility criteria first and then apply. Admission will be done after a counselling session which will be conducted in the SRM Campuses at Chennai, AP and Haryana. Below provided more details regarding the SRMJEEE 2018.

SRMJEEE is for admissions in engineering. Candidates can get admission in B.tech in the following listed campuses:

SRMJEEE for B.Tech is commonly known as SRMJEEE UG. SRMJEEE for M.Tech is commonly known as SRMJEEE PG.

SRMJEEE 2018 Exam Date

It is expected that the SRMJEEE will be held in the month of April 2018.

SRMJEEE 2018 Application Form

Registrations will be open in October 2017. To apply online log on to www.srmuniv.ac.in. Candidates are suggested to check the eligibility criteria first.

Application and Entrance Fee is decided: Rs 1,060.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

• Candidate must be a resident of India / NRI / PIO / OCI.
• NRI / PIO or OCI holder who do not appear in SRMJEEE 2018 must apply under international student category.

Qualifying examination

• Candidates should be HS passed (10+2) or will have to pass HS exam in present academic year.
• Candidate must have studied and passed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology/ Biotechnology as major subjects in full time regular stream. Those who have not studied Mathematics as a subject in class 11^th or class 12^th can only be eligible for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering programs.
• Candidate can have passed from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
• International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or A-level.

Minimum Percentage Required

Ineligibility

• Candidates are not eligible for admission if he/she has passed class 10th as well as class 12th from NIOS.

Age limit

• Candidates who born between 01 Jul 1997 to 01 Jul 2002.

Attempts

• Candidates who has passed QE in not more than 2 attempts (including appearing for improvement) are eligible.

Exam Pattern

The test will be of 2.5 hours. Questions will include subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology. Candidates can opt for either PCM or PCB. Each question will be of 3 marks and in MCQ form. There will be no negative marking.

SRMJEEE 2018 Syllabus

SRM University will provide the syllabus for thee 2018 in the month of October. Candidates can refer to last year’s syllabus for advance preparation.

Slot Booking

Candidates need to book their test slots as per their convenience, subject to the availability of slots in a particular centre/date. Once the Centre of Examination and the session are allocated to the candidates, later they will not be able to change anything.

Admit Card

Candidates who have submitted the application form successfully and are eligible according to the norms, only they will get the admit card/hall ticket which will include the details of the candidate like address, photograph, centre allotted and date and time of the examination. Candidates can download the admit card from official website of SRM at www.srmuniv.ac.in. The candidates are requested to keep the admit card safely till the admission process does not get over.

Note- Candidates with valid admit cards only be allowed to seat in the exam and it must be presented for the verification process.

SRMJEEE Result 2018

It is expected that the result will be declared in the month of may 2018. A merit list will be disclosed which will express the result for the Qualified candidates. The merit list will be made based on the marks get in the entrance exam by the candidates. To see the results candidates will have to log on to http://www.srmuniv.ac.in. Also, candidates will be informed by email and SMS.

Exam Centers

States where SRMJEEE 2018 will be conducted, will be published in October. It is expected that SRM University will hold SRMJEEE 2018 in the States- Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, New Delhi, Orissa, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, West Bengal.

SRMJEEE Counselling 2018

There will be a common counselling for Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Ghaziabad campuses of SRM University Chennai, Amaravati campus of SRM University –AP and Sonepet Campus of SRM University – Haryana.

SRM University will hold common counselling at any one or multiple venues.
Candidates will be called for counselling based on their SRMJEEE 2018 rank.
The number of rounds for counselling will be decided on the basis of seat availability.
