Courses Selection Criteria
Undergraduate Programme – Basis of merit in the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary or equivalent). No Entrance Test.
Postgraduate Programme – Basis of the performance of the candidate in the entrance test only.
M.Phil. / Ph.D students through a two-stage process called Research Eligibility Test (RET), consisting of a written test and an admission interview.

Publication of the list of merits
For the Undergraduate Program
The first selection list along with the dates of admission will be published on the website and on the university bulletin boards ordinarily after ten days from the last online application date. Candidates must verify the merits list and admission dates and appear for admission on scheduled dates with the required original documents. No separate information will be issued (either by mail or by mail) to assist Counseling / Admission.
For the Postgraduate Program
The results of the entrance exam will be posted on the University’s website and on the university’s bulletin boards tentatively within 10 days after the completion of the entrance examination of all subjects and the Merit List for admission to Different PG courses along with Counseling Dates and Admission will be posted on the website and on college notice boards tentatively after 4 days of publication of admission exam results. Candidates should review the list of merits and counseling dates and appear for counseling for admission on scheduled dates with required documents. No separate information will be issued to attend Advising / Admissions.
M.Phil / Ph.D Program
The Merits List will be posted on the website (www.ravenshawuniversity.ac.in) and on the bulletin boards of the respective departments. Candidates should review the list of merits of the candidates selected for the interview. No separate information will be issued to attend Advising / Admissions.
Documents to be produced at the time of admission
For the UG & PG program
The following certificates and documents on original and authenticated photographic copies in support of qualification, etc.
Certificate of secondary examination or equivalent in support of age
Mark Sheet and Certificate of Upper Secondary Exam or equivalent
School or university leaving certificate
Certificate of Migration, if it exists
Certificate (s) in support of the request for Reserve, Pesos and domicile, if any.
For men ex-service and category family members, original download certificate.
Blood group certificate
Four recent seal size photographs
Affidavit form (available on the website) duly completed
Photocopies of all documents must be signed by the candidate as proof of self-certification. Filing incorrect information with the intention of defrauding can lead to cancellation of admission, and make a candidate responsible for criminal proceedings.
For the M.Phil / Ph.D Program
A copy of the admission form and all original Certificates and documents in support of the qualifications (such as pass certificates and mark sheets), the reservation and the certificate of exit from the university;
Blood group certificate;
Four recent color photographs in stamp size;
Proof of payment of admission fees and other fees as indicated by the college office. Admission fees as directed by the college office;
If a selected candidate fails to submit the documents and admission fees on the specified dates, the application for admission will be forfeited.
A candidate must provide a commitment that he / she is not working at any full-time / part-time college / institution and will follow the full-time course until the publication of M.Phil final result.
A candidate must make a commitment not to be working in any State / Center / Private School / University / Institution, either short term or full time. If he / she is so committed, the candidate must file a relief and NOC order from the employer during the first 3 years of the doctorate. Program.
If a selected candidate does not submit the documents and admission fees, etc., on the specified date, the application for admission will be lost. No extension of time will be allowed in any case.
