The NIMHANS Admit Card will be available for download from the official website. Eligible candidates must take print out of their Admit Card for the Entrance Test from NIMHANS website only. Admit Card will not be sent by post. 

Guidelines for Online Entrance Test

The Entrance Test will be held on the web (i.e., PC based). It is normal that ONLINE Entrance Test will be hung on seven urban communities i.e. Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad in the South, Pune in the West, Delhi in the North, and Kolkata in the East. There might be numerous test focuses in these urban communities and NIMHANS maintains whatever authority is needed to disseminate candidates to any test focus. A competitor needs to choose three urban communities, for mulling over, in the request of need, i.e., first choice, second choice and third choice. In any case, the choice of City for taking the examination, or focus in a given city, cannot be solicited as an issue from a right. NIMHANS claims all authority to wipe out the choice of city/focus.

The entrance test for all the courses will be held at all the centers across India.

• Common Entrance Test will be conducted for MD in Psychiatry, Ph.D in Clinical Neurosciences, DM in Neurology and M.Ch. in Neurosurgery courses for candidates with MBBS degree qualification
• Common Entrance Test will be conducted for DM in Neuroanaesthesia and PDF in Neuroanaesthesia courses
• Common Entrance Test will be conducted for DM in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and PDF in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry courses.
• Common Entrance Test will be conducted for DM in Neuropathology and PDF in Neuropathology courses.
• Common Entrance Test will be conducted for all the 10 PDF courses under Psychiatry and choice, of course, will be given to those candidates based on the order of merit in the entrance examination those i.e., the candidate securing highest marks will have the first option of selecting any of the 10 PDF courses till all the seats are filled.
• Common Entrance Test will be conducted for all the 5 PDF courses under Neurology and choice, of course, will be given to those candidates based on the order of merit in the entrance examination those i.e., the candidate securing highest marks will have the first option of selecting any of the 5 PDF courses till all the seats are filled.
• There will be a single Entrance Test for DM in Neuropathology and PDF in Neuropathology. A separate Entrance test will be conducted for PDF in Transfusion Medicine.
• Common Entrance Test will be conducted for M.Phil in Biophysics, M.Phil in Neurophysiology and M.Phil in Neurosciences courses.

In case of unanticipated issue/compel majeure, a re-exam will be held at a later date just for the individuals who went to the abandoned exam. NIMHANS claims right to decide to choose whether the re-exam identifies with at least one urban areas, or at least one focus, or at least one courses.

Possession/utilization of Mobile Phones/Electronic Devices/Spy Cameras/Bluetooth is entirely disallowed on the premises of NIMHANS Entrance Test focuses and competitors might be obligated for corrective action for any such demonstration.
