- Admission to all the UG and PG courses is based on the entrance exam conducted by the university followed by counseling process.
- B.Tech (Regular and Lateral) admissions are based on the marks obtained in UPSEE followed by counseling.
- MBA & MTTM admission is based on the marks in Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) or CAT followed by counseling conducted by the university.
- For B.Ed program, candidates have to qualify in UP JEE B.Ed entrance conducted by the university.

Lucknow University Result: Steps to Check
- Visit the official website of Lucknow University.
- In the main menu, click on the “Result” section.
- Result is based upon odd and even semesters. Select the semester accordingly.
- Then select the course for which result is desired.
- You will then be directed to a page where you have to enter the subject, registration number and password.

The university offers various UG programs including BBA, BVA, BFA, B.Sc, BA, B.Com, BCA and B.Li.Sc on the basis of entrance test. Eligible candidates who clear the university entrance test are intimated for counselling round on the basis of their merit.
Entrance Test for all the UG courses comprises of 100 MCQs for the duration of 90 minutes except for Faculty of Arts courses for which the test duration is 60 minutes for 50 MCQs. Each question carries four marks for a correct response while one-marks will be deducted for a wrong answer.

Important Points Regarding Entrance Test:
- The entrance test will comprise of 100 objective type questions to be answered in 90 minutes.
- For the faculty of Fine Arts, the entrance test will comprise of 50 objective type questions to be answered in 60 minutes.
- Each question will be of 4 marks. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Zero marks will be awarded for each un-attempted question.
- There will be questions from subjects that are taught in the intermediate level in various boards like UP board, ICSE and CBSE.
Lucknow University UG Application Process: Fill the application form online and pay the application fee of INR 800 (INR 1800 with late fee). SC/ST candidates need to pay INR 400 (late fee 1400) at the time of application.
Lucknow University on Campus Online Counseling Details
Lucknow University counseling process involves the following steps:
- Reporting at the university,
- Document Verification (Marks sheets of class X and XII, Category Certificate and Income Certificate)
- Zero Fee Verification (for SC/ST candidates),
- Subject Allotment,
- Counseling Fee Submission
- Issue of Allotment Letter
Documents required at the time of Counseling:
- Photo ID and Address Proof any one of Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Passport

- Caste Certificate (If Applicable)
- Income Certificate (Income certificate should be issued after January 1, 2019)
The copy of allotment letter has to be submitted to the respective Dean’s office on July 10, 2019 along with a copy of all the relevant marks sheets, Caste Certificate, Subcategory certificate, weightage certificate and original migration /transfer certificate and Year gap certificate for students who have passed intermediate in 2018 (with valid reason).

Lucknow University offers B.Tech courses in various disciplines in full-time as well as in lateral entry mode. 10+2 with PCM is the minimum eligibility criteria with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) in aggregate. Candidates need to qualify in UPSEE to secure admission in this program. For Lateral Entry, B.Sc or Diploma in the relevant discipline with 60% marks (55% for reserved categories) is a must.

After UPSEE counseling, the candidates need to visit the Office of the Coordinator, Lucknow University, Faculty of Engineering, Second Campus, Jankipuram, Lucknow-226031 with university fee in the form of DD drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Lucknow University payable at Lucknow and required documents between July 20, 2019 to July 23, 2019.
Lucknow University B.Ed, B.P.Ed & B.El.Ed Admission 2019
At undergraduate level, the university also offers B.Ed, B.P.Ed and B.El.Ed courses in full-time mode. Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject is the minimum eligibility criteria. Admission to B.Lib.Sc and B.El.Ed is based on the marks in university-based entrance test followed by counseling. For B.Ed. the candidates have to qualify in U.P JEE B.Ed.
For B.Ed Admission, the candidates have to register for the counselling round by paying INR 5750 as counseling fee by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking. INR 750 is non-refundable.

Fill the application form, upload the desired documents and pay the application fee through Bank of Baroda payment gateway (Debit/ Credit Card or Net-Banking). For B.El.Ed & B.P.Ed courses, the candidates need to pay INR 1600 (with late fee: 2600). SC/ST candidates need to pay INR 800 (late fee: 1800) as application fee.
Lucknow University B.Ed Pool Counseling (Who can apply)
- Only those students are eligible to apply for pool counseling who have not register In round 1 of the counseling.
- All those candidates who registered for Round 1 counseling but could not be allotted any seat.
- All those who registered for Round 1 counseling and allotted seat but could not pay the balance fee.
Following candidates are not eligible for Pool Counseling:
- Those who have allotted Aided/Government College in Round 1 of counseling irrespective of balance college fee paid or not paid, if applicable.
- Those who have allotted seat in self-financed college in Round 1 and have paid the balance college fee.
- The SC/ST candidates who have claimed zero fee and were allotted a seat in any Aided/Government/Self Finance College in Round 1 of counseling.
Lucknow University MBA & MTTM Admission 2019
Lucknow University offers MBA & MTTM in various specializations at postgraduate level. Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks is the required eligibility criteria for admission. MBA course is also offered in self-financed mode.
Candidates are shortlisted for MBA course on the basis of marks scored in the national level entrance test i.e. CAT or the university entrance test, popularly known as Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET). All the candidates who clear the entrance test, either CAT or LUMET, must appear for the interview round conducted by the University.

Fill the application form by following the below-listed steps:
- Candidates should register themselves through the online admission portal. Upon doing so, the applicants will receive their login details on the registered mobile number and email ID.
- Fill the application form followed by document upload including photo and signature.
- Select the test centers in order of preference.
- Pay the application fee of MBA Application fee of INR 2000 (INR 3000 with late fee) by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking. SC/ST candidates need to pay INR 1000 (late fee: 2000) as application fee.
- Take the printout of duly filled application form and retain it for future requirements.
Note: The candidates have to visit the university at the time of counselling along with required documents and printout of the application form.

Lucknow University Ph.D. Admission 2019
The university also offers research programs such as Ph.D. in different departments. Candidates seeking admission can apply through either of the following methods:
- Through Qualifying Entrance Test (QET)
- Direct Interview (Exemption from QET)
Candidates from both the categories would be pooled together and will be required to undergo an interview process. Selection will be done on the basis of their performance in the interview round. The interview process shall consist of evaluating the candidates based on the following parameters:
- A research proposal (in 400-600 words) in the area of research interest of the applicants which will be submitted to the interview board.
- A power point presentation of the said research proposal by the applicant in front of the interview board.
- Personal Interview
