Counselling

The schedule of tests and counselling for the M.E., M.Tech and MUP programmes 2017 of the Institute is as given below. Those candidates who have applied and are eligible for the respective programmes should come for counselling of GATE qualified candidates and tests and counselling of Non-GATE candidates on the given date given below. The lists of eligible candidates called for tests and counselling will be uploaded on the Institute website shortly.

How to register:

To apply for the above program against vacant seats, eligible applicants must download and print the application form (Please click on the link below) and bring the completed form with two recent color photographs (one on the application form) Photocopies of originals and all sheets and certificates of drawings and a cross-drawing of Rs.2.500 / – (General) and Rs.1.500 / – (SC / ST) candidates (non-refundable) towards the application fee From Birla Institute of Technology, Payable at Ranchi, and declare below **.

Note – Applicants who have applied earlier for programs but can not appear for counseling / testing or not, do not need to make a new application. However, they must bring a photocopy of their application form. They do not need to make any new levies on the application fee. If applicants do not have a photocopy of their application form, they must report to the admission office at 9:00 am before moving to the respective department.

** Eligible Candidates must report to the campus according to the date and above mentioned schedules with the completed form of application and all certificates and in the original relevant documents, and one set of each for Photocopies of registration, Of the Office of the Head of the respective Department at the Birla Institute of Technology,

Director of his Off Campus: Candidates applying for the M.E. (ECE-Wireless Communication) and M.Tech. (CSE) at the BIT Patna campus should appear for testing and counseling at the BIT Patna campus only.

Note:

The candidate can use an application form to apply ONLY to a program – ME Or M.Pharm or M.Tech or MUP or M.Sc. Etc., and a discipline in this program – for example only ME In mechanics or only M .Tech in computer science and engineering or only M.Sc. In biotechnology.
However, a request form can be used to apply for various specializations in ME Programs (in a department) and in the M.Pharm program, and in the case ME (ECE-Wireless Communication) and M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering), you can also use an application form to apply for different places of study (Center), in order of preference.
Please use separate requirement forms to apply for two or more programs.
All applicants in their own interest should keep photocopies of their completed forms for their own reference …
Eligibility criteria

M.E. (MEC-PG1):

Candidates must hold a B.E. / B.Tech / AMIE or equivalent degree in the relevant disciplines / branches listed below for the respective courses. Candidates must have a minimum of 55% of points in average (50% for SC / ST) at the end of their studies.

Applicants should preferably be qualified GATE 2016 / GATE 2017. Non-GATE applicants may also apply. However, their applications will only be considered after the interviewees who have qualified in GATE have taken the exam.

Program M. Pharm (MEC – PG2)

Candidates must hold a B.Pharm diploma from an institute certified PCI and AICTE. Candidates must have a minimum of 55% of points in average (50% for SC / ST) at the end of their studies.

The applicants deserved to be qualified in the GPAT 2017. Non-GPAT applicants are invited to apply. However, their applications will only be taken in consideration of the prize account in qualified GPAT candidates, interviewed (for more details, please consult the selection procedure).
